When our client first came to us, they were exasperated at not being able to find what they wanted from the large national companies. They found it surprising that everything the big guys offered was manufactured in standard sizes, with no consideration for particular layouts, styles, or finishes.
So you can imagine their delight when we told them they’d have no such problem when working with Fox Wardrobes.
With a plan to include an L-shaped wardrobe with a custom built headboard unit and bespoke bedside units, we excitedly got to work planning how best to approach this project.
After our initial design consultation we presented layout options for wardrobes with sliding doors that would work best in this particular property.
Our initial design consultation took us to the property. This allowed us to truly understand what our client was looking to achieve with this storage solution.
The built in wardrobes were required to fit into an L-shape with open corner rails in the corner of the bedroom, with the bed fitting snuggly between two slim wardrobes, joined by a bespoke headboard which would offer additional shelf space.
Storage space was maximised via the usage of corner rails separated by internal shelving, with internal floor space for additional storage options, all while matching the aesthetic of the bedroom.
Our design was met with a big thumbs up from the client, relieved that the perfect fitted bedroom furniture they had long been imagining was close to becoming a reality. And with that thumbs up, we set off to our warehouse to start work on the wardrobes.
Everything we build is done so with an eye on both form and function, and this project was no different.
We installed the built in wardrobes with a pleasant colour contrast of Autumn plum and gloss white. We also included two space‐saving mid-level mirrors on the inside of the hinged wardrobe doors.
The bespoke headboard tied everything together, while the bedside units offered additional shelving and storage options with pull out trays and drawers. And the floor to ceiling wardrobes maximised the available space while complementing the clean and crisp aesthetic of the bedroom.
